Terms and Conditions

Operated by Samuel Bezzant as a
self-employed sole trader. By accepting a quotation or confirming a booking,
customers agree to these terms, subject to their statutory rights.

1. Bookings and Cancellations

Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to
cancel or rearrange an appointment. Late cancellations or failure to provide
access may incur a reasonable charge of up to the agreed labour cost, limited
to actual reasonable losses where the appointment cannot be filled. Work may be
postponed due to unsafe weather or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

2. Quotations and Payments

Quotations cover the agreed work only. Any
extra work, materials or unexpected ground conditions will be discussed and
priced before proceeding. Payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed.
Deposits may be required for larger projects or materials.

3. Garden Maintenance

Garden maintenance will be completed with
reasonable care and skill to the agreed scope and schedule. Garden and lawn
condition may change due to weather, seasonal growth, pests, disease or
inadequate watering. We cannot guarantee ongoing plant or lawn health where
deterioration is outside our reasonable control. Additional work will be quoted
separately.

4. Lawn Renovations and Soft Landscaping

Seeding, turf laying and planting will be
undertaken with reasonable care and skill. Customers are responsible for
appropriate watering and aftercare following completion. Establishment and
survival cannot be guaranteed where failure is caused by inadequate aftercare,
extreme weather, wildlife or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Related remedial work is chargeable by agreement; rights concerning faulty
materials or workmanship remain unaffected.

5. Pressure Washing and Weed Control

Pressure washing may reveal existing
cracks, loose pointing or surface defects. We are not liable for pre-existing
defects where reasonable care and skill are exercised. Repairs, sealing and
re-sanding are excluded unless agreed. Weed treatments are undertaken by a
suitably qualified operator; results vary and repeat visits may be charged
separately. Customers must follow treatment safety instructions.

6. Commercial Grounds Maintenance

Work is limited to the agreed contract and
schedule. Watering, replacement plants, lawn renovation and additional
landscaping are excluded unless specified. We are not responsible for
deterioration caused by inadequate watering, pre-existing site conditions or
other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Extra work requires a
separate agreement.

7. Access, Safety and Liability

Customers must provide safe access, remove
avoidable hazards and advise us of known underground services or risks. We
remain responsible for damage caused by negligence or failure to exercise
reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or
statutory rights where unlawful.

8. Customer Acceptance

Signing confirms acceptance of the terms
supplied before booking, without affecting applicable consumer or cancellation
rights.
